Description:
This is a three day intensive course taught by Rossen Hristof (Tactical Performance Center), Karl Erickson (Tactical Rifleman) and Imri Morgenstern (Prime Combat Training). The three instructors have joined forces in an effort to cultivate the best aspects of both the competitive and tactical shooting worlds.
This course will exponentially improve any shooter’s handgun fundamentals as well as introduce them to the world of disruptive environment combat training and CQB.
The first day of the course will focus on rebuilding the shooter’s stance, grip, trigger control and biomechanics. The second day will cover motion and disruptive environment training the first half day, then CQB skills in the second half. The third day will be CQB in pairs in the shoothouse. The morning session will be learning CQB and the afternoon will be force on role player scenarios using UTM man marking rounds.
This is a somewhat physical course and students will be learning to shoot under conditions of elevated heart rate, distraction and low levels of stress. Having said that, you do not need to be in marathon shape or anything like that. Most of the drills are conducted individually and can accommodate students of varying levels of physical abilities and fitness.
