Our course is based on the Military’s TCCC Trauma Combat Casualty Care training, but is modified for civilians. It is NOT “watered down” for civilians. Rather, we have take the current TCCC program of instruction and modified it to meet more of what civilians are going to find. Example: you are NOT loading casualties onto helicopters that are going to be flying over 9,000ft mountains, causing Tension Pneumothoraxes. Rather, we’ll be focusing more on the “here & now” of treatment and moving the casualty “off of the X.”
